The European Union is ready to join in the restoration and development of the territories of Donbass liberated from the Russian aggressor. This was reported by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on Twitter.
"Ukraine welcomes the readiness of the European Union to join in the restoration and development of the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts liberated from the Russian aggressor", - he noted.
The President recalled that at the EU-Ukraine summit, an agreement was reached to launch the initiative of P.Poroshenko to "patronize" certain cities and districts of these territories for the implementation of targeted aid projects for the restoration of infrastructure and life support by the interested EU member states.
