Children from the front-line Donbass have arrived on vacation in Croatia at the expense of the host country. MP, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on European Integration Maria Ionova reported this on her Facebook.
"Phew, I am glad it happened! Yesterday, late at night after a longtime move to Croatia on the Adriatic coast, 100 our children from the conflict zone in the east of Ukraine from the category of orphans (due to Russian aggression), deprived of parental care, as well as those whose parents perform military duty on the front line arrived", - she wrote.
"Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, a great friend of Ukraine and man of his word, gladly responded to the joint initiative of the Ukrainian party to provide assistance for the children's vacation, which they really need. It took only two months and our children already have the opportunity to spend their holidays in the fabulous places! The Croatian government defrayed expenses of living, eating and entertainment", - the MP said.
