Every morning, a truce is established between Avdiivka and occupied Yasynuvata, and combat engineers check the way to the Donetsk filter station so that the work shift can get to this important facility and provide water for 345 thousand people in the east of Ukraine, - TSN reports.
The DFS work shift comes from occupied Yasynuvata. The daily shift of station workers is about 25 people. Each time, the AFU military and combat engineers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, together with the OSCE SMM, help them to safely reach their place of work.
The DFS provides water supply to 345 thousand people in the east of Ukraine. The supply of drinking water to Avdiivka, partly to Donetsk and Yasynuvata, to the settlement of Krasny Partyzan, villages of Kruta Balka and Verkhnyotoretske depends from the operation of this filter station.
