The state enterprise Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant has announced a tender for the construction of a new safe shelter confinement facility. The corresponding application was placed in the public procurement system ProZorro, - informs 112.ua.
According to the information provided, the tender is worth $164 million.
"A tender for construction works on the facility "New Safe Confinement (NSC)", launch complex 2, dismantling of unstable structures of the Shelter Object of Chornobyl NPP has been announced. Expected purchase price – $164,233,488", - the tender information reads.
The enterprise established the period of clarifications until July 13, the period of appeal - until July 19. The deadline for applications is July 23, 2018.
The management of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant will be reviewing the proposals for one month - the auction is scheduled for August 28.
A little more than 8 years are scheduled for the construction itself - the deadline is set for December 2027.
