The "DNR" leader Alexander Zakharchenko has ordered to abolish "customs duties" between the occupied parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. He stated this during the meeting with so-called deputy "chairmen of the Council of Ministers", - separatist media report.
"During the meeting with the "LNR head", we discussed the possibility of lifting all customs restrictions between the "republics". I dive a comission to gather presidium of the "Council of Ministers of the DNR" today in order to resolve the issue of lifting customs duties in accordance with our legislation. As of today, a lot of variant readings in the legislative framework of the "LNR" and "DNR" have already been removed", - they quote the militant's words.
"From now on, according to the "green card", which was signed by me and "LNR head", let our entrepreneurs and people go to the territory of the LNR and pay no taxes and fees", - Zakharchenko stated.
In turn, the "deputy prime minister" of the "DNR" aka "Tashkent" specified that duties were only withdrawn for products produced by the "republics" specifically for each other.
"The working group developed a "green card" which provides for the removal of all types of fees and taxes on products manufactured in the Luhansk People's Republic for the Donetsk People's Republic and on the products that we produced for the LNR. Also, the work of two customs systems and tax bases of the republics were equated. In addition, the rates for customs duties which are in the Republics on the border with the Russian Federation were equalized, — "Tashkent" said.
