The "Defenсe forces of Ukraine" took Kyiv Shevchenkivsky District Court under the "public protection". This is stated in the video on the Facebook page of People's Deputy Semen Semenchenko.
It is noted that people with chevrons of the "Defence forces of Ukraine" guard the court without weapons.
"We are now fulfilling the obligations of law enforcement officers so that citizens, grateful to authorities, do not burn this court...", - said a representative of the "Defence forces".
"My acquaintances ask me whether this job (court protection – Ed.) is paid. If the court concludes an employment contract with us, it is possible", - he said.
As previously reported, Kyiv Shevchenkivsky District Court appealed to the Supreme Council of Justice with a statement that on February 19, the National Guard without any explanation withdrew its officers from the Shevchenkivsky Court. Later the Ministry of Internal Affairs said that the information about the alleged removal of units of the National Guard of Ukraine from the premises of the district court was untrue.
