Three children in Krasnohorivka were hospitalized as a result of explosion of an unknown object, - the Department of Communication of the Main Department of the National Police in the Donetsk oblast reports.
Yesterday, at 21.00 on February 6, a report was received at the duty room of Marinka police department that small children were injured as a result of careless use of an unidentified explosive object.
The explosion occurred in a private house. The crime scene investigation team immediately left for the place. The remains of the metal object were found in the kitchen, where the children played.
The youngest boy and girl, who received the most injuries, were sent to the surgical department of the Kurakhovo hospital. They were diagnosed internal injury and traumatic amputation of the hand's fingers.
When the explosion occurred, the parents of the kids were in the adjoining room, where they drank alcoholic beverages.
Preliminarily, the fact is qualified under Art. 15, Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (attempted murder). Now the law enforcers establish all the circumstances of the incident.
In total, four children at the age from 3 to 14 are brought up in the family.
