The militants of the "DNR" sentenced two residents of Horlivka to 18 and 22 years in prison for allegedly spying for Ukraine. This is stated in the report of the so-called "General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic".

The report notes that at the end of 2017, citizens of K. and G. were found guilty of committing a number of crimes by the verdict of the fake "military tribunal of the DNR".

Allegedly, during the investigation, it was established that citizen K. had been trained in the free territory of Ukraine "with the aim of carrying out terrorist activities in the DNR".

Together with another figurant, he purchased and stored firearms and explosives from October 2014 to January 2016. Allegedly, both convicts "manufactured improvised explosive devices for committing terrorist acts at military facilities of the Republic".

In addition, citizen K. allegedly collected and transmitted information concerning the commander of one of the military units. The "court" sentenced him to imprisonment for 22 years and ordered to pay a fine of $1800.

The second "spy" was sentenced to 18 years.

It is noted that both men will serve their punishment in a strict regime colony.
