Observers of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission have confirmed 478 deaths of civilians in the Donbass in 2017. This was reported at a media briefing in Kramatorsk by Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Alexander Hug.
"Last year, we registered and confirmed 478 civilian casualties, including 40 children", - he said.
Hug noted that the tendency, when civilians suffer from violence, continued in 2018.
"Last Sunday and the following days, we found out about civilian casualties. These cases are registered in the report of the OSCE SMM", - he reported.
