One Ukrainian soldier was killed and four were injured in anti-terrorist operation zone in the east of Ukraine on Thursday, - press center of the ATO headquarters reports.

In total, 9 shelling of the ATO forces by militants were registered over the past day.

"Unfortunately, there are losses among our servicemen again. During the performance of battle missions, one Ukrainian soldier was killed and four others were injured", - the report said.

In the Luhansk direction, the main fire activity of the enemy was observed in the area of Svitlodarsk arc. Militants fired from 120 and 82-mm mortars and heavy machine guns near Luhanske and from grenade launchers of various types and small arms - at the defenders of Novoluhanske. In the latter case, the AFU were forced to neutralize the fire activity of militants. Also, illegal armed formations disrupted the armistice near Novozvanivka from heavy machine guns.

In the Donetsk direction, Pryazovia was the epicenter of instability. The militants actively used 120 and 82-mm mortars in the vicinity of Shyrokyne, Hnutove and Lebedynske. Furthermore, the defenders of Pisky were shelled from grenade launchers of various types.

Over the past day, the enemy continued to conduct air reconnaissance. Unmanned aerial vehicles, prohibited for use by the Minsk agreements, were registered on different sections of the contact line seven times.
