In Ukraine, from December 1, the living wage for able-bodied people increased by $2.9 - up to $64.9, which is stipulated by the law on the state budget for 2017, - LIGA.net reports.

According to the law, the subsistence minimum for one person per month from December 1 is set at $62.60, children under 6 years old - $54.9, for children aged 6 to 18 years old -$68.5, for working people – $64.9 and for persons who lost their ability to work - $50.6.

Also the recount of social assistance will be made, the amount of which depends on the subsistence level.

Since December 1, the amount of state social assistance is:

- for persons with disabilities from childhood 1 group of subgroup A - $105.9 (subgroups B -$80.2), 2 and 3 groups -$53.5;

- for persons with disabilities since childhood 2 and 3 groups with an allowance for care - $53.5;

- for children with disabilities without an allowance for care - $53.5;

- for children with disabilities of subgroup A up to 6 years with an allowance for care - $92.4;

- for children with a disability up to 6 years with an allowance for care - $64.9;

- for children with a disability of subgroup A from 6 to 18 years with an allowance for care – $105.9;

- for children with disabilities from 6 to 18 years with an allowance for care – $71.6;

- for children with disabilities, whose disease is associated with the Chernobyl disaster, up to 18 years - $56;

- for children with a disability of subgroup A, whose disease is associated with the Chernobyl disaster, up to 6 years with an allowance for care - $111;

- for children with disabilities, whose illness is associated with the Chernobyl disaster, up to 6 years with an allowance for care – $83.5;

- for children with disability of subgroup A, whose disease is associated with the Chernobyl disaster, from 6 to 18 years with an allowance for care - $124.6;

- for children with disabilities, whose illness is associated with the Chernobyl disaster, from 6 to 18 years with an allowance for care - $90.4.

The minimum amount of maternity benefit since December is $16.3.
