The Petro Poroshenko Bloc (PPB) faction in parliament has called on the government to increase the minimum wage in Ukraine to $155. The chairman of the faction Artur Herasymov, said this at a meeting of the parliament's conciliatory council on Monday, OstroV’s correspondent reports.

"We are appealing to the government regarding a further increase in the minimum wage to $155”, - he said.

In turn, the leader of the Radical Party, Oleh Lyashko, said that it is necessary to raise the minimum wage to $195 from October 1.

"We believe that it is necessary to raise the minimum wage, there is an appropriate bill to set the minimum wage at the level of $195 per month from October 1", - he said.

The minimum wage in Ukraine now stands $125.
