Observers of the OSCE SMM have registered the insignias of Russian troops in the ATO zone. This was reported by the first deputy head of the OSCE SMM Alexander Hug at a briefing in Lviv today, - correspondent of Ostrov reports.
"We are not an intelligence department, as you know, we report only on what we see. We saw the insignias of both the Russian Federation and other states on uniform", - he stated.
He also noted that the OSCE SMM observers communicated with people who claimed that they were servicemen of the Russian Federation units.
"We saw individual units of weapon, which we described in our public reports, including electronic warfare. But conclusion, based on these observations, does not apply to our authority. Our mission is to register what we see and hear, and conclusion can be already drawn by the readers of our reports", - Hug added.
