The "DPR" has recognized that the attack against the patrol of OSCE mission was carried out by militants who intended to end serving in the ranks of illegal armed formations. This follows from the statement of Eduard Basurin, the self-described "deputy head of the People's Militia Headquarters of the DPR".

"A cynical provocation against international observers was carried out by the Ukrainian special services with the involvement of citizens of the "republic" hooked by the SBU upon the "Return Home" program just before the next meeting of the security contact groups in Minsk", - he stated.

Thus, he confirmed that the persons who attacked the OSCE SMM patrol on June 20 are directly related to the "DPR" power block, since the SBU "You are Waiting at Home" program is aimed at people who voluntarily refused to participate in terrorist activities and applied to the law enforcement agency of Ukraine with the corresponding statement.

Basurin had categorically denied earlier the involvement of illegal armed formations of militants into the attack against OSCE mission. However, his allegations had no effect: on June 22, the deputy head of the OSCE SMM in Ukraine Alexander Hug made it clear that the "DPR" leadership is not able to keep its militants under control at a press conference in occupied Donetsk.
