Militants in the occupied Donbass began to put in the Ukrainian passports a certain mark "LPR", which automatically means the spoilage of the identity document and its non-recognition. This is evidenced by the report of the OSCE SMM.
Observers communicated with two women who "told the members of the Mission patrol that they were not allowed to leave the areas controlled by the government because of the presence of the "LPR" marks in their Ukrainian passports".
The report notes that women showed their passports: "observers saw these marks".
In turn, the Ukrainian border guards confirmed that "they have recently received the order to stop all those who have the "LPR" marks in the Ukrainian passport, leaving the areas controlled by the government".
