"The workers are housed in organized groups (usually up to 40 people) in isolated facilities — on separate floors of dormitories, factory premises or guarded container settlements. Each group is assigned supervisors and North Korean intelligence officers who monitor their behavior and ideological purity and prevent any attempts to escape. Free access to the street, unrestricted use of smartphones and access to the regular internet are officially prohibited for them", - the reports say.
