Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk made the statement after an incident in which an unidentified aerial object violated Polish airspace during a massive russian attack on Ukraine, Polish Radio reported on July 30.
According to Tusk, following a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, he believes that the next 100 days could be decisive in the war. The Polish prime minister also stressed the need to support the military in decisions regarding responses to such incidents.
Tusk said that the United States would join the investigation into the crash of the unidentified object in Poland's Lublin Voivodeship on July 30. According to him, the U.S. side expressed interest in participating in the investigation, while Ukraine also offered assistance in determining the circumstances of the incident.
It is also reported that Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said he had spoken with Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski following the incident involving the violation of Polish airspace by a russian missile.
Sybiha stated that Ukraine had expressed solidarity with Poland and its readiness to assist in clarifying the circumstances of the incident. He also emphasized that strengthening Ukraine's air defense should become an urgent priority for the entire Euro-Atlantic community.
