The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade approved a pilot project of deregulation of prices on socially important food products and carried it out for consideration of the Cabinet of Ministers. The corresponding draft resolution was signed by First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv at the briefing in Kiev, - reports UNIAN.
"I am signing a historic document," - said Deputy Prime Minister.
As previously reported, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade tended to deregulate prices for socially important food products as of August 15th, then monitor the price situation in the market until November 15th and decide on the renewal, restriction or cancellation of price regulation until December 15th. The Ministry of Economic Development supports the idea of complete state deregulation of prices.
