“7 people were injured in the capital after the enemy’s attack tonight. 5 of them were hospitalized. Two are receiving outpatient treatment”, - reported the Mayor of Kyiv, Vitalii Klychko, on Telegram on the morning of October 23.
According to Klychko, as a result of the enemy attack on the capital and the fall of UAV debris this night in the Podilskyi district of the capital:
• fires occurred in three residential buildings;
• blast waves damaged windows in several houses at different addresses;
• in one of the district’s schools, more than 40 windows were shattered;
• part of the windows in a kindergarten were damaged;
• cars burned in the courtyards of several residential buildings;
• debris fell near a synagogue.
Also, in the Obolonskiy district, the blast wave from a downed UAV damaged windows in one of the residential buildings.
“In the Desnianskyi district, a multi-apartment building was damaged. Preliminary reports indicate no fire or casualties”, - reported the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine clarified that in the Podilskyi district, firefighters extinguished a fire in an apartment on the first floor of a five-story residential building and in cars located in the courtyard. Emergency workers evacuated residents.
In one of the multi-story buildings, the roof and two apartments on the 8th floor were partially destroyed.
The facade and window glazing on the premises of one kindergarten were damaged.
Fires in warehouse buildings at several addresses were also extinguished, as well as the burning of two cars in the courtyard of a five-story building.
As a result of falling debris, one of the business centers in the Podilskyi district was damaged.
In the Desnianskyi district of the city, a russian UAV struck the 21st floor of a 24-story residential building, without detonation. Also, an unfinished building was hit.
