President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that yet another night attack by russia on Ukraine demonstrates insufficient international pressure on the aggressor. He reported this on his Telegram channel.

“Another night proving that russia doesn’t feel enough pressure for dragging out the war. All night and morning, our air defense forces, mobile fire groups, and drone interceptor crews were at work. Ordinary cities were under attack — mainly our energy infrastructure — but there were also many hits on residential buildings”, - the president noted.

According to him, the Kyiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Cherkasy, and Sumy oblasts were affected. As of the morning, 17 people were reported injured, and six, including two children, were killed.

“Russian talk of diplomacy means nothing until russian leaders feel critical problems. And that can only be achieved through sanctions, long-range capabilities, and coordinated diplomacy among all our partners”, - Zelensky emphasized.

The head of state called on international partners to adopt a new, powerful sanctions package against the russian federation.

“It is already time to approve a strong sanctions package from the European Union. We also count on powerful sanction steps from the United States and the G7. It is very important that the world does not stay silent now and that there is a joint response to the vile strikes by the russians”, - the president concluded.
