“A traction substation of Ukrainian Railways was hit in the Chernihiv oblast. During the night, railway power engineers began repair work, but the enemy directed UAVs to the site of the restoration efforts. Thanks to the monitoring system, the workers were promptly moved to a safe location — there were no casualties. Train traffic has been ensured, with backup diesel locomotives engaged”, - reported on October 20 the Vice Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Kuleba.

According to him, the enemy also attacked port infrastructure: some facilities and buildings were damaged. Fires were quickly localized.

“The port workers were in shelters, so fortunately there were no casualties. Currently, several ports are not receiving trains; they have been dispersed across the network and will resume operation when ready”, - Kuleba noted.

According to the Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor’s Office, on the morning of October 20, a russian strike drone, preliminarily identified as a Geran-2 type, attacked the village of Orelka in the Lozova district. Private residential houses were damaged.

A 42-year-old woman sustained injuries. Her husband and their two sons aged 11 and 19 experienced an acute stress reaction.

The Prosecutor’s Office also reports that on October 19, the russian army shelled the village of Kupiansk-Uzlovyi. A 71-year-old man was killed, and another man was wounded. According to preliminary data, the enemy used multiple rocket launchers against the settlement.
