“On October 16, police recorded 2,009 russian shellings along the front line and residential areas. Eleven settlements were under fire: the cities of Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman, Mykolaivka, Sloviansk; the towns of Oleksiive-Druzhkivka and Raihorodok; and the villages of Krynytsi, Myrne, and Oleksandrivka. Fifty-three civilian objects were damaged, including 43 residential houses”, - reported the Donetsk oblast police on October 17.
Russians dropped a KAB-250 bomb on Raihorodok, injuring three people, including an 11-year-old boy. The child, with injuries to his eyes, face, and body, was sent to a hospital in Dnipro. Sixteen private houses and a civilian car were damaged.
The enemy carried out nine strikes on Druzhkivka using a KAB bomb and Lancet UAVs. One civilian was injured; two apartment buildings, ten private houses, two educational institutions, and a civilian car were damaged.
Three people were injured in Krynytsi as a result of a drone attack; a car was damaged.
In Myrne, the Pokrovsk district, two civilians were injured by a Geran-2 UAV strike.
Kostiantynivka was attacked by two KAB-250 bombs: an apartment building and an educational institution were destroyed. Two more bombs exploded in Oleksiive-Druzhkivka, damaging 13 private houses.
Lyman was hit by a KAB-250 bomb and an FPV drone: an educational institution was destroyed, and a private house was damaged. In Mykolaivka, an infrastructure facility was damaged. In Oleksandrivka, the Kramatorsk community, an enemy Lancet UAV damaged a truck with a trailer.
In addition, information was confirmed about a civilian killed in Hannivka, the Pokrovsk district, during shelling on October 15.
According to the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, 242 more people, including 78 children, were evacuated from the front line in the past day.
