“During the first eight months of 2025, more than 290,000 cases of violations of labor legislation were identified in the actions of employers (in russia and in the annexed territories of Ukraine — OstroV), and 64,000 individuals were subjected to administrative and disciplinary liability”, - the russian Prosecutor General’s Office said in a statement.
According to the russian oversight agency, thanks to their intervention, 150,000 workers were repaid 12.4 billion rubles in wage arrears. The russian Prosecutor General’s Office also acknowledged that 2.3 billion rubles (USD 28.2 million) of that debt was owed to residents of the so-called “new regions”. *
As previously reported, at the “state” mines of the “LNR”, thousands of miners as of September 2025 had not been paid more than one billion rubles in wages.
