“The largest oil terminal of the occupied Crimea, located in Feodosia, has been burning for the second day”, - reports Radio Svoboda on October 7.
The head of the russia-controlled administration of Crimea, Sergey Aksenov, has not commented on the incident. According to the Telegram channel “Krymskiy Veter”, drones attacked the terminal around 01:40 a.m. on Monday. The channel published video showing gunfire at an aerial target or targets, followed by a powerful explosion with a fire in the area of the oil depot. The air raid alarm in Feodosia was activated only at 02:27 a.m. — an hour and a half after the attack on the oil terminal began.
The fire at the oil depot was visible from a distance of 30 kilometers. Photos were published from the settlement of Pryvitne, located in the Kirovsky district of Crimea, northwest of Feodosia. Russia-controlled authorities in Feodosia ordered the closure of roads near the oil depot, calling the incident a “situation”.
