The third round of talks between moscow and Washington “on irritants” will take place before the end of autumn. This was stated by russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov in a comment to russian media.
“By the end of autumn it will definitely take place. There are no dates yet, and all this is still under discussion”, - Ryabkov said.
He also added that russia is persistently raising with the US the issue of resuming direct flights.
The last direct talks about the war in Ukraine took place in August, when US President Donald Trump met with vladimir putin in Alaska. At that time, the American leader said he would help arrange a meeting between the presidents of russia and Ukraine – putin and Zelensky – and might personally take part in it. However, such a meeting has not yet taken place.
