Ukraine is ready to provide "ceasefire" as of September 1st in spite of the fact that the enemy continues to violate the Minsk agreements regarding withdrawal of heavy weapons and weapon use. It was stated by t commander of the Center operative association, head of the ATO in Donetsk and Luhansk regions Lieutenant General Ruslan Homchak, - reports Interfax-Ukraine.
"We are ready for "ceasefire" but we do not believe apprehension, we believe reliable information and execute commands," - said R. Homchak.
At the same time, the commander noted that the Ukrainian military responded to changes in the operational situation accordingly. R. Homchak stressed that the current situation in the ATO area was characterized as "tense and difficult".
"We are now in Marinka that is under fire every day... enemy uses artillery systems, tanks against our units. We are checking the information that in the morning they used Grad MRLS," - he said.
