"The total number of violations by the russian army of russia’s own promise of Easter truce during this day is 2,935. The most shelling and assault actions were in the Pokrovsk direction. The russian promise of complete silence did not extend to the Kursk direction either. In total, there were 96 russian assault actions along the front, 1,882 shellings of our positions, including 812 with heavy weapons, and russian FPV drones were used more than 950 times", - said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to him, this day was not enough for moscow to respond to the offer of a full ceasefire for the next 30 days after Easter, nor to the proposal to at least continue silence in the skies concerning civilian infrastructure and refrain from missile and drone strikes.
Zelensky emphasized that the nature of Ukrainian actions will remain mirrored: silence will be met with silence, and protection from russian strikes will be met with our strikes.
"Actions always speak louder than words", - noted the head of state.
It was previously reported that Ukraine is ready for a full ceasefire.
