Russian forces shelled Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk oblast, severely injuring a rescuer, according to the State Emergency Service (SES).
"Today, russian occupiers deliberately shelled a fire and rescue station in the city of Kostiantynivka. A senior firefighter who was on a 24-hour shift was injured. The firefighter was immediately taken to the hospital, where he is receiving all necessary medical assistance. He suffered a contusion. His condition is stable but serious", - the statement reads.
Private vehicles of the rescuers were damaged, and the emergency workers extinguished a fire in a minibus.
