The russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has declared seven foreign and Ukrainian journalists wanted for "illegal border crossing". This is stated in a message from the department.

It is noted that those wanted were filming a report from areas of the Kursk oblast controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. They include CNN correspondent Nick Paton Walsh, journalists of the Italian TV channel RAI, Stefania Battistini and Simone Traini, reporter for the German publication Deutsche Welle, Nick Connolly, as well as Ukrainian journalists Nataliia Nahorna, Diana Butsko, and Olesia Borovyk.

Earlier, the FSB initiated criminal cases against them for illegal border crossing.

As previously reported, on February 24, 2022, the russian Armed Forces' occupation corps illegally crossed the border and invaded Ukraine. Following the russian military, numerous "war correspondents" and russian bloggers came along.
