The russian Ministry of Justice found no grounds to recognize Alla Pugacheva as a "foreign agent". This information was provided in a response from the Ministry to State Duma Deputy Alexei Zhuravlev, who had submitted another complaint against the legendary singer.
"Currently, the Ministry of Justice of Russia does not have information that would lead to the conclusion that there are circumstances which, according to current legislation, would warrant the imposition of the obligations associated with being recognized as a foreign agent", - the document states.
The deputy was assured that if any signs of foreign agent activities were identified, Alla Pugacheva would be included in the registry.
It was previously reported that the artist takes an active anti-war stance.
