In the Donetsk oblast, 10 residents were injured and over 40 homes and infrastructure objects were damaged by russian shelling in one day. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, on Telegram on June 17.

According to him, 2 people were injured in Krasnohorivka. In Hirniak of the Kurakhove community, 2 five-story buildings and an infrastructure object were damaged. In Selydove, 3 private houses, 2 industrial buildings, an administrative building, and an infrastructure object were damaged.

In the Lyman community, the villages of Terny, Yampolivka, and Torske were shelled. In Kostiantynivka, 4 private houses were damaged. In Nova Poltavka of the Illinivka community, 7 people were injured, and 12 objects were damaged.

In Toretsk, one person was injured, and 3 houses were damaged; another 6 houses were damaged in the village of Severne. In the Chasiv Yar community, 4 private houses, 2 multi-story buildings, and an infrastructure object were damaged.

Overall, russian forces shelled settlements in the Donetsk oblast 4 times in one day. A total of 40 people, including 5 children, were evacuated from the frontline.
