NATO countries should reconsider restrictions on the use of weapons provided to Ukraine – Stoltenberg 05/27/2024 16:06:30. Total views 315. Views today — 0.

NATO allies on a national level should reconsider the restrictions placed on the use of weapons supplied to Ukraine, as combat actions in the Kharkiv oblast show that russia is shelling Ukraine from its territory and considers itself protected by its state border from retaliatory strikes. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated this today in Sofia during a joint press conference with Bulgarian Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, reports Ukrinform.

"It is up to the allies to decide on the restrictions regarding the use of weapons they supply to Ukraine – this is not a NATO decision, but the decision of individual member countries. Some of them have no restrictions, while others impose various kinds of restrictions. My message is that it is time to weigh the appropriateness of some of these restrictions", - emphasized the head of the Alliance.
