Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Oblast Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder. This was stated in a message from the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

It is noted that on April 7, 2024, a video was published in one of the Telegram channels, which recorded russian military personnel shooting three captured Ukrainian soldiers.

The video shows a representative of the russian armed forces firing several shots at unarmed and motionless soldiers, presumably from a rifle.

The description below the video indicates that the event took place near Krynky in the Oleshky community of the Kherson oblast.

"Once again, representatives of the aggressor country blatantly disregard the provisions of the Geneva Conventions on the treatment of prisoners of war, which indicates the support of such actions by the senior command of the russian armed forces", - the Prosecutor General's Office said.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the National Police Main Directorate in the Kherson oblast.
