The Verkhovna Rada recognizes the right of the Ingush people to create an independent sovereign state and restore the territorial integrity of Ingushetia, condemning the crimes of the russian federation against the Ingush people. This was announced by the People's Deputy from the parliamentary faction European Solidarity, Oleksii Honcharenko, in Telegram, regarding the adoption of the corresponding resolution No. 10344.

A total of 248 deputies voted in favor.

The document acknowledges that in 1944, the Soviet totalitarian regime unlawfully liquidated the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, forcibly deported the Ingush people beyond the historical ethnic boundaries of the Ingush nation, arbitrarily included part of their national territory in other administrative-territorial units of the USSR, and systematically resettled the lands of Ingushetia with representatives of other ethnic groups.

In light of these historical events, the Verkhovna Rada recognizes the right of the Ingush people to self-determination and the creation of an independent sovereign national state.

The Ukrainian parliament condemns the mass deportation of the Ingush people in 1944, the dismemberment of the national territory of the Ingush people, the destruction of Ingush national identity, the mass killings of Ingush people in 1992, political repression, and other crimes committed by the ruling regime of the russian federation with the aim of genocidal destruction of the Ingush nation.

The Verkhovna Rada supports the Ingush people's aspirations to restore the territorial integrity of the Ingush nation and preserve its national identity.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada is mandated to send this resolution to all representatives of the international community and call on them to make decisions in support of the Ingush people.

The Verkhovna Rada had previously appealed to the international community on October 6, 2022, seeking support for the right to self-determination of the indigenous peoples of the russian federation.
