Colonel of the Armed Forces Vadym Sukharevsky will lead the new branch of the military - Unmanned Systems Forces. This was announced by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Oleksii Honcharenko, on his Telegram channel.
The allocation of unmanned aviation into a separate branch of the military was previously stated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
Hero of Ukraine Vadym Sukharevsky ("Barsuk") has been the commander of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade since 2022.
