In St. Petersburg, a student from Donetsk reported a scientific worker to the police because she had a Ukrainian flag on her backpack. This incident is reported by russian media.

The young man had previously fought against Ukraine in the ranks of the "DNR" and is currently a student at one of the universities in St. Petersburg.

While at one of the metro stations in St. Petersburg, he encountered a woman with a Ukrainian flag on her backpack. The student did not ignore it – he engaged the woman in conversation, which resulted in him reporting her to the police, claiming that she was a fervent opponent of the "special military operation".

The police promptly took the "offender" to the police station. She turned out to be an employee of the Institute of Applied Astronomy of the russian Academy of Sciences.

According to the Donetsk Telegram channels, a campaign of harassment against the informant has begun in social media and some media outlets. "We, the youth of Donbas, support our fellow countryman, believe in his righteousness, and condemn all the authors of comments, editors, and journalists attacking the young man", - local propagandists spoke up in defense of the informant.
