Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has stated that despite differences, Ukraine intends to form a policy of "new pragmatism" with the government of Slovakia. Shmyhal announced this on January 24th in Telegram.
"Despite differences, we intend to shape a policy of 'new pragmatism' with the government of Slovakia that will benefit both states. I am confident that today's meeting with Prime Minister Robert Fico will open a new page in our relations", - wrote Shmyhal.
It is worth noting that on January 24th, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico visited Uzhhorod and met with his Ukrainian counterpart Denis Shmyhal.
