In the "DNR" a fake "court" sentenced a defender of Mariupol to life imprisonment, claiming he "carried out orders to eliminate the civilian population". This information was reported by the General Prosecutor's Office of the russian federation.
It is noted that another verdict was handed down to the Azov fighter Serhiy Mykhailenko, who defended Mariupol from russian aggression in March 2022.
Allegedly, during the "court session", it was established that the Ukrainian military received an "order to liquidate the civilian population" and, in carrying it out, shot at a "car with white ribbons and inscriptions indicating its affiliation with civilian transportation". "Supreme judges" baselessly claim that "as a result, two men, a woman, and a three-year-old boy died on the spot, while two children and their grandmother managed to escape".
The occupiers sentenced the defender of Mariupol to life imprisonment with serving the sentence in a correctional prison of a special regime.
As reported earlier, the russian occupation authorities are systematically classifying Ukrainian prisoners of war as "war criminals", baselessly accusing them of "cruelty to the civilian population".
