The leader of the "DPR" says he will not give control over the part of the Russian-Ukrainian border to Kiev. He said that in the framework of the presentation of the book by Zakhar Prilepin "All that needs to be resolved ..." in Moscow, - reports RIA Novosti.
"It will never happen. Never," - said A.Zaharchenko commenting on the request of Ukraine to restore the legitimate Ukrainian-Russian border.
At the same time, the leader of the militants believes that a "turning point" in the situation in Donbass is needed.
"The turning point will happen. The situation which began to develop in 2014 should come to some end," - he said.
As previously reported, Ukraine’s main condition for the local elections in the occupied Donbas is control over the Russian-Ukrainian border. Militants get military equipment and ammunition from Russia through uncontrolled borders. Armed forces of the Russian army and mercenary gangs go across the border freely.
