On January 4, Germany announced the provision of a new package of military assistance to Ukraine, which includes air defense systems, missiles, ammunition, and auxiliary equipment. This was reported on the website of the federal government.
In particular, Germany has delivered the Skynex anti-aircraft missile system with ammunition and missiles for the Patriot and IRIS-T SLM air defense systems, ammunition for the Leopard 2 A6 tanks, and almost 10,000 155mm artillery ammunition.
The package also includes 10 Marder armored personnel carriers with ammunition and spare parts, two mine-clearing tanks WISENT, and a bridge layer BIBER with spare parts.
In addition, 305 assault rifles MK 556, millions of rounds for small arms, and over a thousand winter camouflage nets have been transferred.
