Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that it would be right for the new mobilization rules to be discussed and adopted openly. He made this statement in a video address on December 26.

"Today, a discussion has started regarding new mobilization rules. There is a legislative proposal - the military command, the Ministry of Defense, and other involved entities have presented it to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. It would be right for such norms to be discussed and adopted openly so that people understand the military command's vision, the motives behind various rules and conditions proposed by deputies, and how issues that our soldiers in the Armed Forces are already facing are being resolved", - noted the President.

"The law is something that concerns everyone. Every citizen in the country. It would be right for the military, together with deputies, to determine how exactly the coming year for our Armed Forces should be legislatively ensured based on the committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. We are awaiting the final text of the law", - emphasized Zelensky.

As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers submitted a bill on mobilization to the Verkhovna Rada.
