Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban would prefer not to share a border with russia. He shared this sentiment with journalists, as reported by foreign media.
According to Orban, there should be a kind of buffer territory between countries under the control of a third state.
"The most important thing is for Hungary not to have a border with Russia. Hungary is interested in having a territory always controlled by another state between it and Russia", - Orban stated.
As reported, the head of the Hungarian government actively opposes European assistance to Ukraine, which is heroically resisting russian aggression.
In 1956, Soviet forces (the USSR then shared a border with Hungary through the Ukrainain SSR) brutally suppressed the Hungarian anti-communist uprising.
