On the walls of a school in the russian Roschinsky town in the Samara oblast, with a population of 8,000 people, nine memorial plaques were installed for the occupiers who died in Ukraine. Local media report this.

The memorial, indirectly confirming the colossal losses of russian aggressors, appeared in the town with a population of about 8,000 residents on December 9, 2023, on the so-called Day of Heroes of the Fatherland.

Earlier, the authorities of the settlement stated that memorial plaques could not be installed on the school facade because it had recently been renovated and is under warranty, which prohibits the installation of external structures until 2025. However, the relatives of the occupiers who died in Ukraine achieved their goal.

As reported earlier, russian military personnel complained to the mayor of Omsk, Sergey Shelest, about the school headmaster who refused to place a memorial plaque on the school wall in honor of another graduate who died in the war. "If we hang plaques for everyone, there won't be enough walls; this is not a cemetery", - she stated.
