Mykhailo Podoliak, an advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, believes that there are no grounds to discuss the dismissal of Valeriy Zaluzhny, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He stated this during a national Ukrainian TV news marathon, as reported by Interfax-Ukraine.
"I don't even know why we can discuss this. Is there any reason for it?" - he said on Tuesday on air, responding to a question about the possibility of Zaluzhny's dismissal.
According to Podoliak, "misunderstanding" between President Volodymyr Zelensky and Valeriy Zaluzhny is impossible.
"It's nonsense if there is a conflict on a political basis", - Podoliak added.
It was previously reported that Zaluzhny complained to Austin about the President's Office.
