Security Service of Ukraine is checking the possible involvement of the Ukrainskyi Vybor public association ", the initiator of which is former head of the Presidential Administration Viktor Medvedchuk, in separatist activities in Ukraine. The response of the SSU states that, - reports Ukrainski Novyny.

"Checking for possible involvement of Ukrainskyi Vybor organization is carried out in the framework of criminal proceedings as of April 25th on thr facts of criminal offenses under Part 3 of Article 109 (actions aimed at violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or the seizure of state power), Part 1 Article 111 (high treason) and Part 1 of Article 258-5 (financing of terrorism) of the Criminal Code," - said the response to the request.

At the same time, the SSU said that there was no official requests from the Minister of Justice Pavel Petrenko to check the activities of the organization on separatism.
