Russia launched an attack near the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant, causing damage to the electrical grid and leaving parts of the cities of Slavuta and Netishyn without power. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy's press service on October 25.

"During the night, the enemy struck the area near the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant. As a result of the explosion, windows in administrative and residential buildings were damaged. Due to the damage to power lines, 1,860 consumers in the cities of Slavuta and Netishyn were left without electricity", - the statement said.

It is noted that restoration work will begin as soon as the situation allows energy workers to access the damaged area.

Additionally, due to shelling in the Donetsk oblast, nine settlements were left without power. Parts of consumers in the Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv oblasts are also without electricity. Repair crews are working in areas where the situation permits.

As previously reported, there was damage in the Khmelnytskyi oblast as a result of a nighttime Shahed attack, and 16 people were injured.
