An event called "Thanks to the president" was organized by the pro-russian public movement "Donetsk Republic" on the anniversary of the russian annexation of part of Ukrainian territory.
"The residents of the DNR of different ages write letters to the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, expressing gratitude for his assistance to Donbas and the acceptance of new regions into Russia", - say the organizers of the event.
Supposedly, the president of the aggressor country has received about 2,000 letters, children's drawings, and postcards.
As previously reported, putin's "assistance" to Donbas is counted in tens of thousands of civilians in the region who have lost their lives, the destruction of cities, villages, and the industrial infrastructure of the Donetsk oblast.
