The leader of the "DNR", Denis Pushilin, has explained to the residents of the occupied part of the Donetsk oblast the presence of filtration and control checkpoints in accordance with russian legislation. This was reported on September 25 in local social media.
In particular, Pushilin's words are quoted as follows: "These checkpoints already existed, and anyone who crossed the administrative border could see that". According to him, this is a security measure, control, and counteraction to unlawful actions by the enemy.
"Now it has been brought in line with Russian legislation because we are now a full-fledged subject of the Russian Federation", - Pushilin is quoted as saying.
