The decision to mandate the evacuation of families with children from settlements that are constantly shelled by russian forces was made at the Kherson Oblast Defense Council on September 14. This was announced in a video address by the head of the Oblast Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

"We are intensifying efforts to evacuate children from dangerous areas. Children should grow up and study in normal conditions, not under the bombardment of russian artillery. Therefore, we have decided to mandate the evacuation of families with children from shelled settlements", - he said.

The affected settlements include Vesele, Beryslav, Novoberyslav, Zmiivka, Chervonyi Maiak, Lvove, Tiahynka, Olhynka, Mykolaivka, Burhunivka, Kamianka, Mylove, Kachkarivka, Novokair, Zolota Balka, Havrylivka, Mykilske, Mykhailivka, Poniativka, Tokarivka, Bilozerka, Berehove, Dniprovske, Antonivka, Sadove, Kamyshane, Ozerne, and Veletenske.

Additionally, the duration of the curfew in the region has been changed. Its period is now from 20:00 to 6:00.

"We are working on preventing an energy collapse in the oblast, as well as preparing for emergencies at critical infrastructure facilities during the autumn-winter period", - Prokudin noted.

He added that other decisions related to the defense of the region would "come as a surprise to the russians".

It was previously reported that on September 14, occupiers killed a 6-year-old boy in the Kherson oblast.
