Shelling of the center of Donetsk may occur from the side of the occupation forces or on a tip from the FSB of the russian federation, which is re-recruiting Ukrainian informants. This was stated by journalist and analyst Serhiy Harmash in an interview with NV radio.
"Shelling of the center of Donetsk takes place almost every day. Moreover, if the outskirts of the city suffered from shelling for 8 years, today, in fact, the city center is being constantly shelled. There are no districts in Donetsk where there would be no shelling, where it would be safe", - he said.
He noted that Ukraine does not have such a number of shells to simply shell the city center for "pleasure or psychological pressure".
"We simply cannot afford it, because we have a shortage of shells, and everyone knows this", - Harmash noted.
According to him, Donetsk may be fired upon by the "DNR" militants or russians in order to create the effect of Stockholm syndrome in the city and "pull more money out of moscow".
"Or this is happening on a tip from the FSB, which is recruiting our informants who give inaccurate coordinates to hit military targets. I'm sure that we hit only military targets", - he stressed.
He also drew attention to the fact that immediately after the arrivals in Donetsk, the invaders talk about the NATO calibers.
"However, it is hard to say how they determine it by the sound. We don’t have enough weapons to just use them", - S.Harmash said.
As previously reported, the center of Donetsk has been under constant shelling lately.
